American Indian & Minority Health (CAIMH)
As one of the three Native American Centers of Excellence in the nation, CAIMH strives to raise the health status of the Native American population by educating Native American students in the field of health care and Indian health. CAIMH provides support to Native American students to attain their medical degree, with many returning to their communities to deliver culturally sensitive health care to their own people.

Learner Development
Academic support services are available to all medical students through the Office of Learner Development. Assistance is offered to help students increase study effectiveness and efficiency and to achieve their learning and academic goals. Medical students are given assistance adapting their learning strategies to the unique challenges of medical education, and in developing skills for lifelong learning in medicine.

Medical Educator Development and Scholarship (MEDS)
Medical educators may be experts in their subject but may not have received special training in educating others. Our unit exists to enable them to acquire the necessary professional knowledge, skills, attitudes and tools to be effective teachers and scholars.

Medical Student Well-Being
Information and resources for medical students to assist in promoting personal well-being in the context of being a professional.

Minnesota Future Doctors
The Minnesota's Future Doctors program seeks diverse urban and rural Minnesotans with passion and with promise.

Rural Physician Associate Program (RPAP)
An internationally recognized nine-month elective program for third-year medical students interested in rural Minnesota primary care.
