Our Community
Our medical students are both challenged and nurtured in diverse University and clinical environments by faculty devoted to excellence in teaching, research, and care.
The state of Minnesota offers an outstanding quality of life, as do its cities of Minneapolis, St. Paul, and Duluth.
With a seven-county area population of 2.5 million, the Twin Cities is home to flourishing downtowns, robust park systems, sophisticated educational and cultural institutions, and thriving entertainment and athletic scenes.
Duluth , with a population of 87,000, has an eclectic downtown on the north shore of Lake Superior and myriad outdoor opportunities.

To seek housing in the Twin Cities or Duluth, the medical student Web site has information offered by students. It is accessible after one has been accepted and received an e-mail account.
Once a student has been issued a student ID, campus housing is available. See housing and residential life for information about the Twin Cities campus.
