• The Flexible M.D. program offers opportunities for students who wish to accelerate their medical education or take time during medical school to explore research, community-service, or international experiences.
• Minnesota has a cost-of-degree program: Medical students may take from 3.5 to 6 years to complete their medical degree and pay the same amount of tuition.

The Flexible M.D. is part of MED 2010, a several-year initiative to develop learner-centered education for patient-centered care.
