Reapplication Policy
The University of Minnesota Medical School considers subsequent applications. Please note the following policy regarding reapplication to the University of Minnesota Medical School:
- Two complete AMCAS applications in two years, per applicant, may be submitted to the Admissions Committee. A complete application consists of the AMCAS application and the U of MN supplemental application, as well as an Admission's Committee decision.
- A delay of one year (one admissions cycle) is required before a third application is submitted.
- After the third attempt, subsequent applications will not be considered.
- Subsequent applications must be significantly different from the previous application(s).
Please note that applicants reapplying are required to submit updated letters of recommendation, as the substance of their overall application will have changed from one year to the next. Previous recommenders may be used.
