This site should be used as a financial aid reference for the financial aid program at the University of Minnesota Medical School. The information in this site mirrors the information in the Financial Aid Handbook that is given to students.

Information about budgeting, terms and conditions of student loans, scholarship programs, work opportunities, debt management, housestaff and physician salaries, and loan repayment options is described in detail in an effort to help you become an informed borrower. Please refer to the links in the left column for further information.

We are available in the Medical School Financial Aid Office to assist you with any questions or decisions regarding the financing of your medical education.

Financial aid counseling is available by appointment or on a walk-in basis with one of the counselors.
