A Note from the Director
Minnesota’s Future Doctors is designed to give minority, immigrant, economically challenged, first generation college students, and rural undergraduate freshmen exposure to the medical profession. (College sophomores, who will be completing a five year undergraduate plan, are also encouraged to apply.) Our goal is to advance students’ passion for advanced science coursework, electronic folios, service in the community, and medical school. I hope the summer participants will return to your campus with endless passion and energy. Participants will receive free room and board and a cash stipend of approximately $1,700.
Please email with your thoughts or questions. I am always looking for new ways to improve the program.
Warm regards,
Jo Peterson, Ph.D.
