Advisors and Professors
Minnesota's Future Doctors offers students with an interest in science and a passion for caring for people the opportunity to explore becoming a doctor. Successful applicants will enjoy three intense summer experiences that help prepare them to become a doctor serving diverse communities in urban and rural Minnesota.
Minnesota's Future Doctors is designed for minority, immigrant, economically disadvantaged, first generation college students. During their six week curriculum each summer, participants receive free room and board and a stipend of approximately $1,650.
Those asked to serve as references would be asked to provide Minnesota's Future Doctors' admissions committee with information about the student's qualities, academic potential, and promise as a future physician. Students must have a completed reference form in their file by February 10, 2009.
The Future Docs Reference Form will be available here December 1, 2008.
