Summer Opportunities
The summer following the first year of medical school provides an opportunity for students to participate in research experiences both at the University of Minnesota and outside. Internal Summer Opportunities
A variety of summer opportunities including research opportunities at UMN. Most are timed specifically for the 9-week break following the first year of medical school. Both paid and unpaid activities are listed. Funding for unpaid summer research may be available through other resources, including the Minnesota Medical Foundation.
