Application Process for the USMLE Step 1 & 2 Exams

In order to complete the Application process, you will need to use the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) online application.

The Application Process

  • Complete and submit online. Use upper and lower case for your name and address. Be careful to select the correct medical school when prompted and enter your correct email address. Check the summary page for accuracy and print it for your records.
  • Read and sign the signature statement located at the bottom of the form.
  • Take Part B to the Sharon Brooks in Mayo B-680. She will complete the middle section, as well as affix your photo and the school seal. Once the form is completed, she will mail your form to the NBME. If you have chosen to pay by check or money order, please be sure to leave your payment with Sharon as well.
