2007 Fall Induction Ceremony

The fall banquet took place in December, adding 25 new members of the class of 2008 inducted into the Minnesota chapter, joining the 12 members elected in their third year.

The fall ceremony was held in the AI Johnson Room of the McNamara Alumni Center on Wednesday, December 5th. We were very honored to have the Dr. Edward D. Harris Jr., MACP, as the visiting professor at our 2007 Induction Ceremony. Dr. Harris is the George DeForest Barnett Professor, Emeritus, for the Department of Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine.  He also serves as the Executive Secretary for Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society as Editor of the society's publication, The Pharos.

2008 Spring Induction Ceremony

The spring reception took place on April 22, 2008, inducting 15 members who were elected in their third year to represent the Class of 2009 ΑΩΑ.

This year's ceremony was held at the Campus Club located in Coffmann Union. We were honored to have Dr. Wesley Miller, Professor of Medicine and Interim Department Chair, give the keynote address at our spring induction reception entilteld, "How Doctors Think: Maximizing the Science at the Patient Care Interface."
