Years 3 & 4

During Years 3 and 4 students plan their own curriculum. Everyone must take 10 required clerkships (56 weeks) and 20 weeks of electives. There are 26 weeks of free time. Note: Rural Physician Associate Program (RPAP) students spend 9 months (half of fall term, spring term, and half of summer term) in a rural site and earn 26 weeks of credit toward the M.D. degree.
